Dredging technology - pump more. earn more.
Over the past decade, the cost of dredging activities has risen, while the amount of material dredged has fallen. Smaller contractors are struggling to compete in part because traditional dredging equipment is expensive to acquire and to operate. CrossWorks’ technology was developed by a contractor, for contractors with a focus on dredging’s bottom-line: moving more material, in less time.
CrossWorks has closely followed growing GPS technology, and may outfit CrossWorks system with geotechnical equipment to track depth, location and movement of the dredge pump, and also to calculate more accurately the material that is pumped.
CrossWorks competitors already build dredges that feature GPS equipment, but no dredge can compare with CrossWorks’ cost-effectiveness or productivity.
The difference is the design
Les Cross was the first contractor in the United States to harness the power of a Toyo/ Hevvy dredge pump for commercial dredging purposes. There was no deployment system for the pump - until now. CrossWorks has engineered a system that incorporates the method used by Les Cross to build his successful innovative contracting business. The system is patented and CrossWorks is the only place you buy 45 years of dredging experience in one dredge. Dredge Better. Dredge Different.
Creativity is intelligence having fun.
